Continue Site Promotion After Reaching Your Goal

Building a site is just the first stage and doesn’t guarantee a company’s success in the internet industry.

Site optimisation is the initial, mandatory stage without which further steps — site promotion and site SEO — are impossible. An important part of every site’s optimisation is informational support and constant site updates, which include fixing various errors: typos, broken images, removing or repairing non-working sections — anything that could negatively affect site reputation or search ranking.

Site optimisation (technical site support) can also include various visual refinements: informational text, images, Flash clips, video, audio. As well as adding new site sections: forums, photo galleries, video clips, articles, and more.

Site optimisation is a very important stage, since this is where meta tags (keywords, search queries) are formed — without which further promotion is impossible. Through these keywords the site can be found in search engines.

After site optimisation you should definitely order site promotion. This stage is what lets the site appear in search engines like Google, Yandex, Rambler — the top engines today. The promotion stage is where the site’s image starts to form, helping it rise in search rankings over time.

The main mistake site owners make is stopping the promotion service. It seems the goal is reached — top-10 achieved. But it’s not that simple. After taking certain positions you must continue promotion. If promotion stops, the site’s search rankings will gradually decline and it may soon become an outsider, since competitors always strive for top spots.
